    Assisted graduate and undergraduate students with the practical assignments for the Functional Programming course which runs during the Michaelmas Term and is the first programming course that Computer Science students undertake.

    Advanced Technology Centre in the Computational Engineering Capability. Implemented multi-objective genetic algorithms on CUDA GPUs to speed up the process of finding good solutions to a series of classified challenges and projects. Developed a novel data-visualization interface using the Qt Framework to display the solutions of the genetic algorithms and help stakeholders interpret and analyze the data. Won the BAE Systems Bronze Chairman's Award for Innovation.

    LDC is system and network administration teaching lab at Universidad Simón Bolívar. The lab is in charge of maintaining and administering the Computer Science Department Network and teaching laboratories. I worked in a team of 12 people managing a variety of Linux (Debian, CentOS, Fedora) and Windows systems along with network service such as NFS, LDAP, DNS, SMTP and others. Provided technical assistance to professors and students of the department. During two terms in 2010 I taught the 'Introduction to Linux' course offered to all students of the University.
