    Over his 23 years at Nutter (15 as an equity partner), Alex Glovsky served in many roles at the firm, including as a Member of the Firm's Executive Committee, Chair of the Firm's Business Department, Chair of Lateral Partner Hiring, Chair of the Firm's Emerging Companies Group and Co-Chair of its Private Equity Practice Group. His practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital finance and complex corporate governance issues. Mergers and Acquisitions Alex has broad experience handling mergers and acquisitions for strategic and financial buyers. He also has worked extensively with closely-held, family-owned business to realize both their growth and exit goals. Alex has served as lead counsel advising clients through auction processes, aggressive roll-up strategies, and complex deal negotiations, specializing in middle-market transactions ranging in size from $25 million to $500 million. Corporate Governance For over two decades, Alex advised boards of directors, senior management and other fiduciaries through complex corporate governance matters, strategic business planning , business integration issues, and regulatory compliance concerns. He has specific experience representing audit and special committees of independent directors in both interested party transactions and internal corporate investigations. Early Stage Capital Finance Alex guided clients at each stage of private finance, from initial angel round investments through late stage venture-backed financings. He worked with clients to formulate strategy to realize their business goals and to build the foundation necessary to secure third party investment. Public Companies Alex founded Nutter’s Securities Roundtable and represented a number of companies in their IPO and subsequent follow-on offerings. He assisted publicly-held clients with the complexities of state and federal securities laws.
