Outschool is the leading marketplace for live, online classes for K-12 students. In August 2020, the company had over 50,000 classes on its platform from thousands of teachers and grew 20x over the prior year. Teachers on the platform routinely make 3x what they earn in the classroom. The company also contributes to Outschool.org which allows students to take classes for free while still paying teachers. I led the company's $45M Series B financing on behalf of Lightspeed in 2020.
