Work Experience

  • CEO & Founder

    2020 - Current

FLOWN is a virtual co-working platform providing focus and connection to remote-working professionals, communities and enterprises. We are tackling the two big existential crises we face as humans: our eroded ability to focus in a world of distractions, and our isolation and loneliness particularly in a post-COVID world of increased remote work. FLOWN leverages the neuroscience technique of ‘body doubling’ - where you work alongside someone else - to create the ultimate accountability platform. Popularized by its efficacy for those with ADHD, body doubling works because the mirror neurones in your brain mimic the behaviours you observe. It is why you yawn when you see others yawn, and why studying in the library with others was so effective. We offer a range of different focus session types, including structured sessions led by our charismatic facilitators (think: gym class for getting stuff done), as well as 24/7 drop-in sessions (think: instant ‘virtual library’ effect), with everyone working silently on-camera together. FLOWN is like a “Peloton for work”: an accountability village for getting stuff done.
We’re a “live LinkedIn”: a synchronous professional network.
Used by brands, celebrities, and communities for hosting communal focus activities for their members. Read our TrustPilot to read about how we help people with ADHD, distraction, and isolation as they work: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/flown.com Try us out for free at flown.com
