Big Idea Ventures was the most active investor in new food tech / food deals in 2022 & 2023. Our first fund, the New Protein Fund, invests in the best companies in the plant-based foods and alternative protein ecosystem. We combine capital and partnerships to back the world’s most compelling companies in the plant-based foods and cell-based foods and alternatives to meat. Our second fund, Generation Food Rural Partners is focused on rural development with strong partnerships with leading universities, corporations and venture building.
