Almi Invest is a Swedish venture capital firm with 130 MEUR under management. We are the most active early stage/seed investor in Sweden. We have a team of 40 Investment Managers spread all over Sweden and we screen about 1000 Swedish companies at seed stage every year. We've been active for 20 years and so far we've invested in over 600 companies during the years, mainly within ICT and Life Sciences, but we also invest in other industries. We often take lead as we are often the first institutional investor in the companies. Our first, initial investment would typically be 100k - 250k Euro for 10-20% of the company. During the lifetime of an investment, sums of up to 1 MEUR can be ventured. We always syndicate with one or several venture capital firms or angel investors, from Sweden or otherwise. So far we've invested with 800 different investors, mainly with business angels but also institutional investors like Northzone, Creandum, Wellington, Conor, Inventure, Industrifonden, Eight Roads (ex Fidelity Growth Partners) et al.
