Asseta is an online marketplace for manufacturers to buy and sell capital equipment and spare parts. When manufacturers shut down factories or update them to make new products, they end up with equipment and parts that they no longer need. We’re leveraging technology to create an intelligent, data-driven platform that will replace the inefficient and untrustworthy brokers that are used today. As the CEO of Asseta, I was focused on attracting the top talent, customers and investors to partner with us. Some of the highlights from my experience at Asseta include: -Raising equity financing from top investors including Y Combinator, Red Swan Ventures, Winklevoss Capital and Gil Penchina. -Managing our global sales and business development strategy. Working with Fortune 1000 companies like Intel, Globalfoundries, Micron, etc. -Sourcing, negotiating and closing remarketing agreements with two of the largest companies in the industry. -Spearheading our expansion into the Asia market, traveling extensively throughout China, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Japan to acquire and onboard customers. -Leading company to profitability.
