Acquired by WeWork in July 2019. Mobile-focused product agency with offices in Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Durham. Our team of designers, product managers, and engineers made iOS & Android apps for companies like SoulCycle, Gap, Sephora, ModCloth, Saks, Rent The Runway, and more. Our team was recognized for several awards including Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing Private Companies, Ad Age Best Places to Work, Crain’s New York Best Places to Work, Digiday Best Native Mobile App, Pixel Award, and Crain’s New York 50 Fastest Growing Companies. Our Core Values: *People first* Whenever you have the power to affect something (i.e. when designing, deciding on policies, etc.), focus on increasing people’s well-being, and orient everything else around that. Embodies human-centered design in many ways. *Take the path of greatest impact* It seems obvious, but when you’re making big choices, it’s difficult to hold back the emotional component. This mantra reminds us to do the thing that will make the biggest positive difference, rather than what will make the work easier, or make us least culpable for failure, for instance. *Roles aren’t boundaries* You can’t solve novel, complex problems if you’re preoccupied with how people with particular labels are “supposed” to work, and you can’t tap into their full potential. *Show, don’t tell* If you’re creating something innovative, other people are unlikely to understand it, because they only have their present understanding to help them interpret it. The only way to get an “aha” is not by trying to explain it, but by demonstrating it. *Care personally, challenge directly* It’s one of the most difficult things to do, but you’re doing a disservice to someone if you don’t challenge their ideas and give them honest feedback.
