As a co-op for Sport in Society we worked with major sport leagues and volunteer organizations and used sports as a vehicle to talk about societal issues. We worked with the MLB, NBA, the US Military, amongst other organizations to run programs like Mentors in Violence Prevention. I interned throughout my school years and spent my time within the Boston Public School system working with both Athletics and implementing the MVP program with high school students. Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) is one of the original gender violence, sexual harassment, and bullying prevention programs.
