The Canadian Black Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) is committed to connecting Black Businesses in Canada to the Global Black diaspora and the mainstream global markets. We promote local and bilateral trade, resources, information and cultural exchange for business. Responsible for advising members and participants of CBCC’s programs, specifically in CleanTech and Sustainability, Including assisting entrepreneurs in planning and executing business strategies to improve efficiency in the operational and financial management of their businesses. Along with other CBCC personnel, expand and develop the CleanTech/Sustainability programs, initiatives and offerings of CBCC.

Evaluate potential new commercialization projects and ideas in terms of feasibility, commercial viability and financing. Manage commercialization projects, from idea towards exit. Assess sustainable competitive edge, market and commercialization potential and development state of research projects, innovations and inventions including IP status. Mentor, coach and advise referred Ryerson researchers, creators, inventors, entrepreneurs on innovation, commercialization, venture development and value creation. Promote, introduce, and connect Ryerson to internal and external stakeholders, in particular industry and finance/capital when appropriate.
