The mission of the Defense Innovation Board is to provide the Secretary of Defense and other senior leaders across the Department with independent advice and recommendations on innovative means to address key challenges. I led the China portfolio and supported several projects in 5G and AI, including the effort to recommend a set of AI Ethical Principles which was officially adopted by the U.S. Department of Defense.
