The Tastemakers Africa platform was a global travel experiences marketplace, virtual membership, and trip management software. Architected, built, and scaled Tastemakers' flagship experience marketplace along with a platform of customer management, analytics pipeline, and virtual membership applications. Managed the product and engineering teams. Led product strategy and product-led growth initiatives centered on connecting the African Diaspora, through travel, virtual experiences, and a global membership. - Skift Top Travel Startup to Watch 2019 - PhocusWire / Voyager HQ Top 25 Startup 2020 We worked on a cross-platform service infrastructure including: React, Redux, Node, Flask, Docker, Kubernetes, and Hybrid Cloud (DigitalOcean & AWS).
