    Brandon Capital Partners is Australasia’s leading life science venture capital investor. As manager of the Medical Research Commercialisation Fund (MRCF), we work with scientists, clinicians and entrepreneurs from company formation and seed investment through to expansion capital, supporting life science companies from proof-of-concept through to commercialisation.

  • Project Leader

    2013 - 2021

    A project leader and postdoctoral researcher focused on drug discovery and development with preclinical experience. I have a strong desire to commercialise research outcomes and have been involved in driving the translation of early stage drug discovery programs for allergic asthma, Duchenne muscular dystrophy and atopic dermatitis towards selecting an Investigational New Drug (IND) candidate.

  • Medical Research Commercialisation Fund (MRCF) Internship

    2019 - 2020

    Internship with Brandon Capital’s investment team, learning how to evaluate and identify medical research that has strong commercial potential by working on live opportunities being evaluated for investment. I was involved in assessing the commercialisation pathway including intellectual property, due diligence and market analysis. I then continued working with an investee start-up biotechnology company throughout 2020.

    2008 - 2010

    Performed laboratory tasks to assist in efficiently running programs in an early stage, fast-paced biotechnology company.

  • Chemistry and Mathematics University Tutor (part-time)

    2004 - 2009

    I have years of teaching experience supervising undergraduate chemistry labs and tutoring maths courses, from 1 on 1 training to classes of up to 50 students.
