NECEC is the only organization that covers all of the clean energy market segments in the Northeast (New England & New York), representing the business perspectives of investors and clean energy companies across every stage of development. NECEC members span the broad spectrum of the clean energy industry, including energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energy, combined heat and power, energy storage, fuel cells, advanced and “smart” technologies, and many more. NECEC’s membership also includes venture capital investors, financial institutions, universities, incubators, industry associations, utilities and large commercial end-energy users.

Browning the Green Space is a voluntary coalition of leaders and organizations, primarily in the New England region, that share the passion to advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (“DEI”) in clean energy. Our goal is to increase the participation and leadership of Black and Brown people and of women (collectively, “underrepresented groups”) in the clean energy space and beyond (e.g., wasted food, water, agtech) in the Northeast.

Clean Energy Venture Group is an investment group that provides seed capital and management expertise to early stage clean energy companies. The group is comprised of seasoned operating executives with strong capabilities in the energy and environmental sectors. With each investment, we bring not only capital, but also the value of our experience and network to help companies achieve their goals. Our focus is New England, but we occasionally invest in companies located in other areas. Our mission is to invest in and support early stage clean energy companies that have the potential to mitigate climate change and achieve attractive financial returns. We collaborate with entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in an atmosphere of mutual respect, intellectual curiosity and analytical rigor.
