    Coterique is an omni-channel dropshipping platform that supports & sells emerging fashion brands globally. As the CEO, some of the things I worked on were: -Developing partnerships worth over $500K with Fashion Forward Dubai, Orascom, El Gouna, Flo Water & more. - Hired, built & managed a global remote core team of 7 individuals in NYC, Dubai & Cairo. - Developed playbooks for all aspects of our operations; vendor outreach, city launchers, popup event execution & customer success guidebooks. - Maintained a 30% MOM revenue growth despite 2 revolutions & 1 currency devaluation in our local market. - Crafted a community-driven growth approach (CotiGirls) which allowed us to grow into over 30 countries including South Korea, Australia & Kuwait with $0 online advertising spend. - Executed a go-to-market strategy that focused on global experiential popups in Dubai, El Gouna & Cairo which increased our revenues by 20x compared to online during the popups' duration

During my time at FA I: - Increased conversion rates for Series A ed-tech startup Perlego by designing a UX project that utilized the google SPRINT methodology & created prototypes using Figma. - Programmed the front-end & an API for a Journaling App using HTML, CSS, JavaScript & Python. - Performed a regression analysis on a data set of 800 diabetic & non diabetic patients to determine the variables that had a statistical significance when predicting diabetes. - Introduced an insurance product for Series A startup Farewill to diversify their revenue streams - Delivered a GTM & Commercial Strategy for Venture Builder PUBLIC's latest project: Purple (a disposable card for those identified as vulnerable to use during COVID). - Coached bi-monthly by the COO of fintech unicorn Monzo; participated in classes by execs working at Deliveroo, Google, ASOS, Babylon & more tech unicorns.

    Seedstars is a Swiss-based firm with the mission to find, connect, and invest in the top seed stage startups in emerging markets. As the MENA & CEE Associate, I was involved with their work in Egypt, Tunisia, Armenia, Georgia, Saudi Arabia & Dubai. This included: -Raising over $100,000 in sponsorship money to cover our on-ground startup events. - Launching Seedstars for the first time in Alexandria, Egypt & Tunis, Tunisia - Developing and managing in-country partnerships with local partner organizations while sourcing new business opportunities & sponsors for future events. -Localizing and delivering Seedstars startup curriculum sessions on topics like how to scale globally, perfecting your pitch, building a marketplace and the unit economics of tech startups. - Sourcing seed stage deal flow as well as market insights & intelligence for 100+ international investors -Working closely with startup founders to improve their pitch decks & gear up for future fundraising rounds. -Partnering with local co-working spaces to grow the "Seedspace" network- an interconnected network of workspaces for tech entrepreneurs

    *Founded the first fashion magazine under the University Press Board to feature and produce original content about fashion from Egypt and the Middle East as a whole as opposed to the redundant content about international fashion. *Drafted club’s bylaws, recruited the initial team and set job descriptions and club managerial structure. *Worked on our boutique partnerships; signed with all available boutiques in Cairo to agree to lend out items for shoots. *Grew our readership and social following by 200% and 350% respectively semester-on-semester.
