  • Senior Director, Inbound Marketing

    2020 - 2021

Lead critical Marketing initiatives including the relaunch of the company's public-facing marketing website. I was responsible for leading inbound marketing overseeing brand, SEO, content marketing, and coordination of an internal software development services team. I was also a member of the company's Senior Leadership which requires additional cross-functional general management responsibilities focused on leadership training, culture support, and change management. At the peak, I had 30 marketing team members reporting up through me at GitLab. This included an embedded software engineering team. I started in this role while covering for the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing, and at my largest scope I had ~70 people (more than half of the overall marketing organization) rolling up to my org through my direct report managers.

  • Interim Senior Director, Corporate Marketing

    2020 - 2020

Following the completion of my tour of duty at Meltano, I offered to join Marketing and cover for a colleague on leave. During this time, I was responsible for the brand, PR, content, and events teams.

  • General Manager, Meltano

    2019 - 2020

Reported to CEO/Cofounder Sid Sijbrandij. In this role I filled both the CEO and CTO role of an internal startup, which I lead from concept to v1 launch. I recruited an internal CEO to succeed me, and successfully transitioned him into the role. I became a "free agent" at GitLab at the end of this effort, and ended up joining the Marketing department reporting to the CMO. Under the CEO I recruited, Meltano was spun out as an independent venture-backed company with Series A funding led by Alphabet's GV, and Series B led by Venrock. I am now an investor.

  • Vice President, Product

    2017 - 2018

    Acquisition transition role from Mattermark.

  • CEO & Cofounder
