Such analysis reveals the magnitude of High Frequency Trading, behavior of Flash Crashes and and detection of Predatory Trading. The analysis involves processing daily quote files and daily trade files having quote and trade activity from all stock exchanges at millisecond intervals for all stocks. This analysis requires big data processing techniques.
