Prior to launching our Fund I, Bettor did angel investing and consulting focused on the sports betting market opportunity.

Focused on monetizing the sports betting opportunity for the largest digital sports media platform in the United States. I sourced, structured, and executed the transaction with Penn National Gaming including the investment and commercial arrangements to create the Barstool Sportsbook. Head of Strategy for the FanDuel Group (#1 real-money online gaming operator in North America), post merger with Flutter, working across all business units (Sports Betting, Fantasy Sports, Horse Racing and Online Casino) on key growth and business development initiatives.

Worked with CEO and board on strategic review process that resulted in majority sale to Flutter in 2018. Operational oversight of DFS business for a period during 2016/2017 Led M&A, Corporate Finance, FP&A and Investor Relations when business focused on fantasy sports. This includes raising $100+M of equity & debt, the acquisitions of numberFire and AlphaDraft, and the merger process with DraftKings.
