    Advising and partnering with Whiteoak portfolio companies on strategy and growth (with focus on technology and product); analysing investments into new businesses. Whiteoak is a mid-market private equity firm that invests in high-quality, growing, Australian businesses. Portfolio companies in B2B SaaS, B2C digital subscriptions, eCommerce and Omnichannel retail industries.

    2018 - 2019

    Led the 0 to 1 build of Australia’s largest fintech payments app and digital wallet, scaling to 500,000 MAUs, and now used by 1,000,000s of active MAUs. Beem is Australia's easiest, fastest, social way to pay or get paid. The company was a joint venture founded by Australia's Top 3 banks (Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, NAB), and subsequently acquired by EFTPOS, Australia's largest payment network. Responsible for product strategy, product management, engineering and design teams, driving sequential month-over-month network growth of all key metrics with highest rated finance app in Australia (4.9 star rating, 30,000+ ratings), regularly maintaining Top 25 App position in Australian App Store.

    Lead product strategy, design, and delivery for all CBS Sports Digital products, serving 70 million monthly users as the 2nd largest sports property in the US. Businesses driven by advertising and subscription revenues. Product suite included media news site and apps, real-time data, video, live data platform, subscription fantasy sports games across all platforms (TV, web, mobile apps). Responsibility across strategy, P/L, engineering, marketing, operations, commercial partnerships. Significant multi-million $ growth of topline revenue, margins, new business creation, and key product metrics such as 12-month customer retention. Built remote teams in Sydney and Kansas City.

    2005 - 2013

    Lead product development as the business scaled from small startup to publicly listed IPO on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:EVDY, subsequently sold to NASDAQ:JCOM) Started as Product Manager and quickly promoted to Director then VP. Product strategy, business strategy and delivery of consumer platform across multiple health categories (pregnancy, diabetes, general health, diet and fitness). Audience grew to 20m+ monthly unique users.
