BooksForTigers.com – RIT students can now find the textbooks that they need for the cheapest price across the internet in a matter of seconds. Previously, the workflow to find just the textbook that was required took several minutes. The technologies utilized were PHP, jQuery, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and a Ubuntu 10.4 server.

Assisted in the development and architecture of a content conversion and delivery system that delivers law publications to law students across different mediums. The system converted Word documents into HTML5 for e-readers and well-formed XML for Thomson Reuter’s WestlawNext product.

Worked primarily with the internal search optimization team. Tasks included writing scripts to analyze log files to improve search performance, implementing Google features into a custom interface, and investigating new possibilities and pursuing their implementation.
