Manages team of 14 crew members operating the Boeing 787 responsible for 300 passengers per flight. Analyzes flight requirements and hazards to make data driven decisions to mitigate risk. Responsible for overall customer experience. Ensures safe flight operations through compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer checklists.

Responsible for recruiting, mentoring and evaluating United States Air Force Academy and the Reserve Officer Training Core (ROTC) candidates from Southern California. Uses analytics and strategy to further develop the officer pipeline to the US Air Force.

For 6 weeks I worked with Andreessen Horowitz and Shift.org to deepen my knowledge of how venture capital firms and venture capital-backed companies operate, make investment decisions, and create strategic relationships to bring these learnings back to the Air Force.

Led base-wide training programs for 170 aviators in six crew positions on 19 aircraft. Manages $2.4 million simulator training budget. Lead instructor on base teaching worldwide, Special Air Missions to 20 pilot team. Selected as lead instructor for inbound C-37 pilots to MacDill AFB. Taught tactics, techniques, and procedures during 40-hour course. Instructed on technical aspects of military specific equipment. Prepared four students per year for initial qualification examination and operational missions. Revised curriculum with other unit directors and higher headquarters as necessary.

Deployed Director of Operations for the C37 Detachment within the US Central Command Area Of Responsibility (AOR). Primarily tasked to transport COMISAF and other CENTCOM Strategic Leaders in and outside of the AOR. Second in command of 16 member team, to include aircrew, logistics, and maintenance. Unit was requested by name to fill deployment after manning shortfall from another unit. Oversaw flight planning, execution, and dispatch operations. Managed maintenance personnel and schedule.
