Started Python brown bag sessions which lead to Python adoption company wide. Many business & technology lessons scaling the business. Worked with many amazing people. ✓ Helped build the business from a 2 man shop up to an International business with offices in AU, UK & US. Resulted with an acquisition by coupons.com in Oct 2011. Press: http://www.thedrum.co.uk/news/2011/10/12/couponstar-uk-acquired-couponscom ✓ I established Couponstar's IT department from the ground up; built in-house data centre, developed systems to manage operations & productivity and helped market the company at industry marketing events like ADMA (Australian Direct Marketing Association). ✓ Helped grow the business by implementing & expanding the US patented coupon technology outside North American into both Australian & European markets. ✓ Moved to US office to build out the International Engineering team in March 2009.

Mission: Delivering online visions. Started a boutique web design & development agency during times when no one wanted a website. Good Ol' IE6 & Netscape days. Focused on automotive & retail industry. The success of custom online commerce shops lead to the development of a web analytics service called WebAnt to measure & report on the effectiveness of the web development efforts. This was before Google Analytics. Competed with Red Sheriff/AC Nielsen at the time. Expanded WebAnt with white label capability as Greenlight Tracking ~ a holistic web analytics and automation service servicing Australian corporate clients like MBF, AMP, CSF. Managing everyday operations of the working relationship between IT and the business to gain the most value out of IT resources. b. Participated in online operations of amp.com.au. Focusing on UAT, regression testing, project management and planning, change management, IT liaison, resource mapping, and outage management. Chaired Web Action Group (WAG) for key AMP web stakeholders. Aim was to spark creativity, forward thinking and moving results driven initiatives. And was the custodian of AMP’s web standards and online content guidelines.

Liqiuid.co.nz – located in New Zealand where I spent time helping the projects team implement new corporate online frameworks, b. Amp.com.au – worked on a number of internal projects expanding the online offerings and upgrading the platform. c. Siebel and Integrator online planner services – where I lead implementation of online automation tools and system integration. Being a part of the Corporate Architecture team, I provided specialist technical advice regarding the design and operation of AMP’s systems. Ensuring technical architecture and tools were aligned with both the direction of internal projects and AMP's strategic direction. Finally, we ran an internal R&D lab where we explored proof of concept scenarios, new thin client online tools and upcoming content management systems.
