My nearly thirty years of business and legal experience in Silicon Valley have come together in a new and exciting way as I join Ulu Ventures as General Counsel and Venture Partner. Ulu Ventures is a seed stage venture firm focused primarily on enterprise IT. At Ulu, we focus on the market opportunity created by the Stanford and Silicon Valley communities and seek to generate great financial results using a disciplined, repeatable decision making process that analyzes risk-reward trade-offs. We also follow logical principles of portfolio construction. This approach makes us conventional in the world of institutional investors but contrarian as compared to other VCs. We believe entrepreneurship is the best tool set for solving the world’s toughest problems. As a result, we strive to learn about our entrepreneurs on a human level, to celebrate who they are and support them in being authentic to their visions. Diversity is not an altruistic goal for Ulu, it’s our investment thesis. We fund diverse entrepreneurs with outstanding ideas. It’s good business and helps spread equity in society by providing opportunity to communities that have been systemically left out.

The LK mobile application offers users a premium yet simple mobile banking experience with convenient access to cash. Users receive the LK LiquidKlear Visa® Prepaid Card and can use it for everyday purchases anywhere Visa cards are accepted.

Senior member of the licensing and services department supporting Oracle’s East Coast operations negotiating agreements for the licensing of Oracle’s software products and Consulting Services, Reseller, ISV and OEM agreements, inbound licensing agreements, and Joint Development and Marketing agreements. Managed Oracle’s Latin American Division for approximately 6 months traveling throughout Latin America negotiating and drafting contracts in Spanish, overseeing outside counsel, coordinating corporate housekeeping for wholly owned subsidiaries, advising on litigation and developing business practices and standard agreements for the Latin American division. Ultimately managed Oracle’s Financial Services Vertical across the United States and Canada negotiating agreements with Fortune 500 companies in the banking and financial services industries.
