I lead the business analytics function for Flagship Pioneering, which I have built over my tenure. The team works across the firm and the broader ecosystem in a variety of strategic capacities. We partner with our portfolio companies on business and pipeline strategy, work closely with senior leadership on firmwide initiatives, engage our mature companies on growth strategy and lead early efforts in implementing AI for finance. Beyond these responsibilities, I have been intimately involved in fundraising at the firm, working closely with the CEO to raise more than $7bn in fund capital.

I have taken on various projects at the company related to management, strategy, operations, sales and IT. I work closely with leadership and management to support their business needs, ranging from cost cutting modeling to demand forecasting to process creation to name a few. Below is a list of partial accomplishments at NSL. • Led monthly discussion with CEO, COO, and other senior leadership on the key risks of the business and review of each division’s plan to hit target in the coming month • Created new process to track all five product divisions’ initiatives to ensure alignment to overall company strategy, providing visibility to senior leadership and the board • Recommended and executed a plan to stop serving a segment of customers for energy audits, cutting costs by 20% while retaining 95% of revenue • Initiated a project with the customer experience team to redesign our scheduling process to minimize the number of overbooked slots for sales visits, decreasing the number of customer cancellations by 50% • Assisted VP of Sales on building 2016 growth strategy by suggesting and quantifying potential revenue from new sales channels • Mentored three peers from other divisions such as operations and administration on professional development and taught excel and projecting, helping them take on new projects within the company

I have worked on multiple projects related to sales, marketing and IT for various clients. The work and experience on these different projects differed greatly--on some projects I led an off-shore team in the implementation of an IT solution and on others I was responsible for generating the analysis and insights after conducting market research. Below is a partial list of my accomplishments with ZS. • Consulted a Fortune 500 company on which of 3 medical devices to manufacture and launch using demand analysis, conjoint analysis, qualitative interviews, and market event driven forecasting to calculate the impact of each device on top-line growth • Led a four person team that implemented a data management system that helped improve data accuracy and sales reporting efficiency for a mid-size Biotech company • Developed a financial forecasting tool that helps the Contracting and Finance team of a Fortune 100 company manage cash flow to ensure enough liquidity to pay out reimbursements to payers • Advised a multinational biotech firm on which of 3 biomarker assays to research and develop based on conjoint analysis and patient flow forecasting • Conducted an opportunity assessment to help assess the feasibility of a potential home health service and created a plan detailing the steps required to ensure a successful launch • Completed a market research project on the marketing campaign of a product launch by testing various concepts with potential consumers and mining their feedback to project potential impact on brand equity and revenue of each campaign • Presented final market research findings and insights deck to the client’s entire marketing and market research teams, including the SVP of US Commercial Operations of a Fortune 100 company • Built a Monte Carlo simulator to model incentive payouts for a workshop with the client’s sales division, including the VP of Sales and SVP of Commercial Operations
