After the merger, I spearheaded the corporate venturing and partnering activities of Nokia Siemens Networks. This included building our network to the best VCs on both sides of the pond, monthly innovation trend and market analysis reports to the strategic board members, as well as identifying investment opportunities.

Consilient was a global trailblazer for mobile email. It built the first-generation platform that connected pre-iPhone devices by Nokia/all phone manufacturers to consumer/enterprise email platforms injecting advertisements in the email to provide the platform for free to its users. Working with Oracle, SendMail, Novell, and legacy email, Consilient brought the first P-IMAP product to market with Singtel, Maxis, Telkomsel, Globe, and all of the Singtel group of carriers. Consilient Technologies had thousands of users in the United States and Asia, and the team that built it changed the culture of technology companies in Newfoundland. It was an award-winning developer of mobile advertising/push messaging software. Consilient was the top winner of the prestigious Mobile Innovation GSMA Asia Award, 2007 in Singapore.

Project leader and core team member in the M&A / Integration work of bringing Nokia Networks and Siemens Networks together. The new entity went live on April 1, 2007, as Nokia Siemens Networks.
