  • Graduation Internship - Entrepreneurial Finance

    Graduation thesis for the TU/e master Innovation Management. The thesis included a literature review on entrepreneurial finance to develop and implement a solution to the funding gap for early-stage DeepTech companies in the Netherlands. The thesis resulted in two potential solutions: The innovative solution (early IPO of a basked of ventures on an equity-crowdfunding platform using blockchain technology), and a traditional solution (VC Fund with characteristics specific for DeepTech ventures, such as longer holding period, larger fund size, and diverse team with technical, entrepreneurial, finance/economic, and legal expertise).

    EasyBook is an online platform where students can earn or save money. Students can rent (out) study books to (or from) other students for one quartile. Activities and responsibilities are in strategy development and execution, service development, brand development, business development, accounting, marketing strategies, event management, relationship management (PR, customers, business relations), and operations management.

  • Project Leader - Global Resource Management

    One of the board-sponsored programs is “Organizational Readiness”, which aims at planning Vanderlande’s future global workforce to support the rapidly growing business. This program comprises of multiple projects. I am project leader of the project that is about creating and implementing a global tactical sales radar (forecasting tool). This tool will be used by product group managers, customer center managers, operations managers, and business unit management teams across the world. Furthermore, I execute quantitative analyses regarding the quarterly strategic outlook.

    Graduation project for the Avans university of Applied Sciences bachelor Industrial Engineering Management. Diagnosing and analyzing the performance of a business process standardization system for the Research & Development department. Implementing a communication plan to create internal awareness and improve the support for the system at Vanderlande Industries worldwide.

  • Process Management Consultant

    Consulting the interim process manager in order to define the current-state of all internal processes. Creating a process map where all internal processes are documented, from where a future-state will be developed. After developing the future-state, key process improvements are determined. The gap is reduced by implementing process improvements. All in close collaboration with the management team.

    Responsible for all process related improvements at the headquarters in Helmond, the Netherlands. Therefore, leading and being part of multiple project teams for improving the shop-floor and supporting processes. Reporting directly to the board of executives.

    Business process re-engineering. Diagnosis and analysis of all internal processes in location in Gemert. Operational improvements of shop-floor by implementing multiple control mechanisms, reductions of in-between stock and batch size, and organizational changes.

    Developing a strategic marketing plan by analyzing the macro, meso, and micro environment. Strategic marketing goals are developed in combination with an implementation plan how to achieve these.
