As part of the advisory team, I work with promising Canadian startups, helping them to build and execute a fundraising strategy that supports growth. With ventureLAB's expansion its Capital Investment Program (CIP) for underrepresented founders across Canada, our team is providing these founders with guidance and expertise throughout the entire fundraising process. Recently developed 6 month investment readiness series to support early stage hardware companies that launched in January 2024.

Designed, co-created, and facilitated a working group focused on advancing the landscape of how organizations embed equity and activate inclusion throughout their work. working group with representatives from companies including: lululemon, Scotiabank, Meridian, CMHC, CBSR, PointClickCare, Cisco, and Optimity.

Spring empowers entrepreneurs, investors, and entrepreneurial ecosystem organizations to change the world through innovation. During this mat leave cover, I developed strategy and designed the experience for a scalable online investor accelerator. Responsible for instructional online course design, client management, delivery, speakers and training, including 60 new investors, $780,000 direct investments, $10M co-investments, and working with 70+ entrepreneurs on investment readiness. The Impact Investor Challenge is a comprehensive, 11-week program with an investor track for individuals interested in impact investing and meeting purpose-driven founders, and an entrepreneur track for early-stage, fundraising startups seeking investment.

Selected by Fast Company as #37 among the 100 best workplaces in the world for innovators in 2020. Led Future Capital (formerly Female Funders), an investor accelerator that empowers corporate and innovation leaders that identify as women across North America to shape the future of funding. Defined new product, customer experience, and sustainable funding model for online investor accelerator. Developed product-market fit, customer persona, product roadmap, user experience, and MVP of business model based on data analysis and agile methodologies. Responsibilities included marketing and sales, GTM marketing plan, including delivering world class program for executives from Facebook, Accenture, Shopify, PWC, Dell, RBC, ATB, and BMO.

Led development of a forum for collaboration, information-sharing and education within Canada's Municipal sector. A first of its kind, this network brought stakeholders together to explore how to use innovations in technology and practice to build prosperous, inclusive and sustainable communities for 2,000 member municipalities representing 91% of Canadians. Partners included Mayors, Councillors, Municipal Executives, and cross-sector industry leaders: Telus, Signify (formerly Philips), CN, Cisco, CIBC, Cement Association of Canada, Campbell Scientific. Co-chaired Innovation task group, advancing understanding and practice of innovation at FCM while developing, managing, and coaching 100+ cross-functional team members.
