Research fellowship from FCT. Development of an energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer with orthogonal tri-axial geometry to study lead concentration in biological tissues. The aim of this work is to get the relation between the Pb concentrations in the different tissues and to study the implementation of a new “in vivo” detection form of lead in humans, appealing to the study of human hair.
