Being in the trenches attempting my own startup, I leveraged this grassroots position to freelance as a venture scout. My main project was supporting Karolina Ventures in building a pipeline for the launch of their equity crowdfunding platform.

Running the service department as a small business within the larger business, with the function of providing commissioning services to main projects upon completion, and servicing legacy vessels with retrofits and upgrades. In a challenging energy market, we achieved an annual revenue of roughly £3M, beating our target and turning around from an inherited underperforming forecast.
Project Engineer - Marine and Offshore

Role Overview: Working alongside a fellow project engineer it was our role to deliver a £8.5 million retrofit steam solution for a FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas ) vessel operated by Golar LNG. It was my responsibility to manage the project through its various phases from kick off through to commissioning of the equipment, applying sound engineering knowledge throughout. We delivered at a margin of 18.4%, £374K above target
