Company acquired in 2021 Created a new international product category from “idea in a kitchen” to a product-market-fit validated platform. Included ideation, roadmapping and development to market strategy, customer insights and international production. Leadership spanned governance and P&L management; product management; market strategy; messaging, positioning and sales; and strategic partnerships. SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS: Built company from two to over twenty people on two continents; developed three generations of proprietary / patented SaaS mobile platform and products with cloud analytics; identified market segments and positioned Smartphone telematics platform; secured key international and domestic partnerships, including several of the country’s top insurance providers; and led three rounds of funding.

Recruited for networking managed switches expertise to turnaround SMB product line, achieved by blending worldwide go-to-market strategy, planning and expansion of strategic relationships and products. Activities included product management, business development, sales and marketing, operations, vendor and partner relations, and multimillion-dollar P&L management. TENURE HIGHLIGHTS: Drove tens of millions in global SMB revenue—directing international developer, vendor, marketer and sales team across 4 products and 10 generations. Led five strategic growth initiatives to accelerate market awareness while reducing costs. Included building 4-language commercial support structure that increased customer satisfaction; developed and rolled out EMEA / NA region VAR channel and distribution partner sales training; strengthened client relationships generating hundreds of thousands in annual repeat and referral business; and reduced BOM through contract negotiation and strategic component sourcing.

Recruited into coding role. Promoted to solely manage product line as part of server management business unit. Defined product strategies and technical design requirements, and implemented embedded KVM technology. SUCCESSES: Managed 3 product lines earning hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, managing up to 9-member team (e.g., engineering, QA, marketing) across 3 original products and 6 generations. Oversaw partnerships with Taiwanese OEM / ODM partners on rolling development, production and launch activities. Focused on engineering obligations including source code, firmware installation, testing, planning, deliverable management, etc. Early role as Engineering Lead (10/01–3/03) included design and development of BMC and IPMI functionality on Gen 6 and 8 Dell PE servers. Managed timelines and design specs, coded major features and delivered sustaining customer support.

Invented open order delivery software system for university electricians using WindowsNT and handheld PDAs. When adopted by the university's 15 electricians it reduced report-to-fix time by 200%.
