The Industrial Development Advisory Board (IDAB) advises Ministers on applications for financial support from companies proposing to start or expand capital investment projects in the UK. The main focus of work is overseeing applications from £20M - £1B for investment support in areas such as energy, automative, computing and space infrastructure, though the Board also looks at a range of other projects where Ministers want a commercial view, including development of relevant schemes.
