2016 - 2019
Founding team. My role is to take our product to market through partnerships, business development, and marketing. Through rapid experimentation and collaboration with the product and design team, I determine the best path to grow our market share. • Created the plan for the Bebo Storm tournaments and ran operations: recruited twitch influencers to compete and stream using Bebo, got brand advertisers to cover the prize pool, scaled the event become a weekly tournament series, and added a South America division. • Created and scaled streamer partner program to 6k twitch creators • Negotiated partnerships with streamers for promotional initiatives as well as product research, while directly providing promised client services. • Partnered with companies who can help us progress in the market: Partnerships (twitch, discord), giveaways for our users (Corsair, NZXT, Gfuel, Noblechairs), cool merch for our ambassadors (Designbyhumans), running charity events with streamers, hosting Games Done Quick at our HQ, getting into parties and events for free, you name it. I hustled to make it happen. • Evaluated and filtered ALL inquiries to Bebo from creators, brands, platforms, agencies and other companies to potentially work with. • Built a following of 20k followers for @bebo_official twitter account. Other products we built where I played a similar role: - Bebo streaming app: 250k streamers - Blab.im: group live video platform with 4m users - Bebo (group facetime for teens): created and executed playbook to take over 40 high schools in the bay area, getting thousands of students to use the app.
