    ➢ Designed, led a 4 person technical team to implement Reporting plant built on top of Cognos platform, which closes the gap between the reporting engine and the consumers of the reports by providing the missing features like rule based powerful scheduling, automated report generation and distribution process, with high degree of extensibility to adopt and customize for end users ➢ Managed and delivered the customized tools and applications for the centralized reporting platform for the Global Prime Brokerage division ➢ Focused on the shortcomings of the existing, inflexible and legacy reporting system and the business user’s ever growing reporting needs and collaborated with user community to focus on highly flexible, extendable, customizable solution to address their needs ➢ Collaborated with the off-shore testing and support team to make this application very stable and performing and played a key role in smooth operation of this application, that got highly favorable feedback from our clients of this Reporting platform

    ➢ Designed and implemented the financial control project GetIT and redesigned Workpackage application. Implemented the GetIT application using Oracle workflow ➢ Implemented the reporting module in GetIT to generate the reports to analyze the money spent ➢ Redesigned the Workpackage application (ASP based) to improve its performance including rewriting core components as well as fine-tuning the database objects ➢ Contributed to the development of MouseTrap reconciliation project, which is meant to analyze and detect the bad data in the trade and settlement feeds and provide a way to report the errors ➢ Collaborated with the business users to understand their needs and converted the same into requirements and also carried-out the technical design, estimated the work effort and co-ordinated the development work

    ➢ Led a three-person team to design and implement the migration application from Lotus platform after the merger with BankOne, to streamline applications to J2EE based web platform ➢ Contributed to the success of application migration by suggesting and enforcing the usage of best practices for various development techniques which resulted in reduced development time, easily maintainable system, proper testing methodologies to make sure, it is stable, secure and scalable ➢ Involved in performance tuning of applications, by adopting various cutting edge technologies with minimal changes like processing asynchronously using JMS messaging, leveraging clusters etc. ➢ Improved the performance of database operations by fine tuning queries, stored procedures, redesigned table structures, used query hints etc. ➢ Enhanced authentication and authorization layer for the applications hosted on shared infrastructure
