Catapult Capital is a boutique private equity firm. We purchased Grindr in June 2020, operated the business for more than 2 years (me as CEO) and prepped the company to go public in Q4 2022 at over $2B. I help other investments such as JibJab. We specialize in consumer-facing tech deals, where our operational. product and management expertise are a key advantage to a deal's success.

2018

Chief Executive Officer
2020 - 2022
Following our acquisition of Grindr in June 2020, I became the storied company's CEO. With my partners at Catapult Capital (and our partnership with San Vicente Capital), we worked to rebuild the team and virtually every system and process within the company from finance to support, product to privacy. We grew both revenue and EBITDA by over 80%. We raised the app ratings from 2-stars to 4.6+ stars. Raised the Glassdoor rating from employees from 18% CEO approval (my predecessor) to 93% approval. Our goal was to have the company growing and ready to be public by the end of 2022. We worked to revitalize the culture and the company's investments into the safety and wellness of the tens of millions of LGTBQ+ users in over 190 countries who depend on the service to connect them with the community across the globe.
