Was an advisor to the first ever I7 (Information 7) which advised the G7 countries on information policy related to the future of work, big data, and artificial intelligence.

Identified vacuum in early stage start up community in Midwest. Conceived and developed fastest growing angel network in the United States. Authored Hyde Park Angels blog. Developed downstream relationships with midwestern universities, and upstream relationships with major corporations. Also developed largest sponsor at HPA in early history. Served on the HPA Board from 2007-2015. I am still an angel but not involved with day to day management of the organization. Visit them at hydeparkangels.com. I traded my own account as a commodity trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Purchased seat in 1992. Have an excellent career track record as a trader. Traded interest rate futures, equity futures and agricultural futures.

Give live extemporaneous financial reports and commentary. Have been on CNBC Squawk Box, CNBC Power Lunch, CNBC Power Lunch Europe, CNBC Squawk Box Asia, Bloomberg on the Markets, CBS News, CNN. I do not know what the anchors will ask and the commentary is on the fly.

Director of CME/PAC. In this role I raised money for the PAC, and I communicate with various members of Congress and their staff on legislation and regulations that affect the financial services industry. Primary contacts were Senate Banking Commitee and House Financial Services Committee along with CFTC, NFA.

Elected to the CME Board of Directors. Was a part of the Strategic Planning Committee while serving on the board of the CME. We transformed the CME from a non-profit member run exchange to a public corporation. CME IPO'd in November of 2002 at $35 a share. Second best IPO of the 2000's after Google. High of CME was $714.00/share in December 2007.

Was the Mechanical Specialist for the Auto Trades Division in Chicago. Increased sales each year in territory. Developed a new product, Post It Tape for parts managers at GM and Ford dealerships. My boss was Harry Toussaint who I am still friends with to this day.
