The Modern Family Institute seeks to bring about a world where families and relationships are defined by their function, not their form. Our vision is to improve relational, mental, and physical wellbeing by ensuring everyone has access to resources and systems of care supporting their unique family and relationship structures. Our research drives systemic changes in legal, financial, housing, and social systems through supporting media representation, policy reform, and professional practices that help people build and sustain flourishing communities of care.

Denizen is both a media platform and a community. As a collective, we recognize the need to redesign the beliefs, values, and institutions underpinning modern society. Amongst us are systems change leaders at the helm of organizations such as the Center for Humane Technology, Zebra’s Unite, Purpose, Mobius, Esalen, the Consilience Project, the Post Growth Institute, the Economic Security Project, One Project, and the Buckminster Fuller Institute. Denizen builds collective wisdom via shared learning. Through thoughtful civic discourse, we make sense of the current times and develop a shared strategic vision for a more equitable, regenerative future. We convene regularly to explore topics related to economics, democracy and policy, technology and society, culture, spirituality and consciousness, and systemic oppression. We are one of the leading clubs on Clubhouse in both Economics and Social Issues, with a reach of over 85k. Our inquiry is shared with a larger audience on the Denizen podcast. Eleven Three was a sprint initiative that intermediated between the early adopter base of Clubhouse and organizations working on the front lines of the presidential election. A non-partisan effort, we focused on getting out the vote, election integrity, and supporting American democratic institutions. A few notable achievements: - Conceived and executed a creative campaign to counter misinformation during the time it took to count votes after Election Day. Anchored by Yves Behar, Tycho, and Oliver Jeffers, the campaign galvanized hundreds of artists to create original art carrying the core message, "Count Every Vote." The art and messaging was used by major influencers on social media, reaching hundreds of millions of users. - Established the infrastructure to mass mobilize American society in the face of an attempted coup: expanded a business network of over 1k companies including major US corporations, connected the major business network to organizations with experience in coup resistance from around the world, and leveraged social media reach to establish direct ties between individuals and the movement leadership. - Established a 200 person volunteer organization to adapt to the dynamic needs of the election in the six weeks prior to election day through mid December's electoral college meeting.
