Our team has built 16 game studios and exited multiple companies over the last three decades, so we are intimately aware of the challenges faced by teams in the industry. Backed by prominent founders and studios, we act as a resource offering decades of studio-running experience and invest in game studios (and enabling tech) building across all genres, platforms, and geographies. Since 2014, we've invested in 80 companies and have incubated multiple studios.

    Nonprofit on a mission to combat climate change by offering people ways to offset the emissions of everyday life. Compensate builds software solutions to enable compensation of CO2 emissions for businesses as well as consumers, regardless of context. I primarily focused on technical recruitment (recruited multiple senior developers) and organizational development.

    Slush, the world’s leading startup conference, gathers 25,000 participants from 130 countries annually to slushy Helsinki. I was responsible for strategy and operations for 1,000-person Kickoff Events (official pre-events), Press Start and Ready to Launch. The events focused on the games industry and product management respectively.     On top of my administrative and other responsibilities as a board member, I have been a part of numerous event teams with various roles such as sales, content marketing, general event planning and workshop facilitation. I also focused on finding new collaboration opportunities and communicating with existing partners.

    Taught statistical analysis and research methods using master's and bachelor's level students in social sciences.

    2017 - 2018

    Responsibilities included creating a pilot project to improve customer engagement. I also worked to improve Skhole's customer onboarding process in addition to contacting and planning cooperation with new partners. After the internship period I continued collaborating with the company in the form of several commissioned research projects.

  • Research Assistant

    2016 - 2017

    The Let's Move It -project is a behaviour change intervention trial concerning physical activity and sedentary lifestyles among adolescents in vocational schools. I was involved in arranging the data collection procedures in schools. This involved motivating the students to take part in the study and instructing them to ensure the collection of high-quality data. I was also responsible for resolving IT-issues and prepared equipment for use in the field.
