    JJ hosted the podcast Been There. Built That for three seasons. She invited founders to tell the stories of how they built their organizations, with a focus on understanding how they dealt with setbacks along the way. As a small sample, the podcast has featured: Neil Blumenthal (Warby Parker), Jim Koch (Boston Beer Co), John Foley (Peloton), Jamie Kern Lima (It Cosmetics), Spencer Rascoff (Zillow), and Bobbi Brown.

    For 12 years, JJ anchored MSNBC's second longest-running program Your Business which focused on entrepreneurship and what it takes to run a successful venture. As the host of the program, JJ traveled the country to interview CEO's, Founders, experts and government officials to find out what makes successful businesses work. Guests included the Founders of Warby Parker, Twitter, Peloton, the heads of the Small Business Administration, Senators and members of Congress. In addition, the show featured an "Elevator Pitch" in partnership with organizations including HSN and Sam's Club. JJ also went into the field to lead experts in providing makeovers and visited Main Streets across America to better understand how local businesses helped revitalize their neighborhoods.
