International Trade Commission counsel for Lighting Science Group in infringement actions against ten of the world’s largest LED lighting manufacturers. Responsibilities extended to nearly all aspects of the case, including pre-filing investigation, domestic industry and validity reports, and 30(b)(6) and expert depositions.

Authored a motion for summary judgment on behalf of six states that resulted in a return of $839 million in fees paid to the federal government. Drafted motion for summary judgment that, after appeal, resulted in invalidation of Austin ordinance restricting right to lease homes for short durations.
