• Received degree in the UCSB Graduate Program in Management Practice, a business degree program designed to educate engineering-oriented PhD candidates in the areas of high-tech business management and entrepreneurship. • Completed two primary research studies on the development of antibody-based molecular diagnostics, resulting in one first author paper (PNAS) and co-first author paper (in submission); also published as contributing author (Nanotechnology for Chemical and Biological Defense). • A patent was filed and a start-up company was founded (Serimmune, Inc.) based on the PNAS paper methodology, 2014. • PNAS paper ranks in the top 5% of all articles ever tracked by Altmetric and currently ranks in the 98th percentile (out of 2,204,423 articles); PNAS research study was featured in two popular press articles in 2013. • Won Best Oral Presentation Award at the University of California Systemwide Bioengineering Symposium, 2013. • Awarded a Whitaker International Fellowship for Biomedical Engineers and studied at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden under Drs. Jochen Schwenk and Johan Rockberg (2010-2011). • Received 2010 UCSB Chang Fellowship for Outstanding Research in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, 2 awarded in 2010. • Final GPA: 3.91/4.0
