During the early stages of COVID-19, we added more new jobs to the economy than any other company in the USA by onboarding over 500,000 shoppers in 3 months.

Worked with product teams to build our shopper core experience and supply-side growth levers. We increased our NPS by >50 points for a fleet of hundreds of thousands of Instacart Shoppers & grew Instacart Pickup from a fledgling product line into a >$1B GTV business, while simultaneously improving contribution margin by >$6/order.

Worked with data scientists, engineers, and designers to build systems that allow customers to place orders whenever they want by balancing supply and demand. Developed core company metrics for customer availability, lost demand, shopper utilization, and engagement. Reduced demand lost due to a lack of customer availability by >3x.

Built products that allowed us to 10x shopper activations and bring on new shoppers without an on-the-ground operational presence. As a result, we were able to expand from 30 markets to >200 markets and grow from 20% to >80% household coverage in the US and Canada.
