We’re building the brand of our generation. From the seed to the store, we’re involved in every step of the supply chain, working with partners and farmers we know and trust. We make our food from scratch in each sweetgreen every day, using whole produce delivered that morning. We hope to change the way people think about food, and to make them crave real food and understand the work that goes into building a better food system. As CEO, my responsibilities include: - Creating the strategy + vision for sweetgreen - Leading & building a team of thinkers and doers ready to innovate + disrupt - Creating value for our guests, for our communities and for sweetgreen - Continually evolving and optimizing our approach to the restaurant business, with an eye for disruption and technological innovation - Building meaningful relationships with our team, customers, communities and suppliers - Investing in local communities — we invest time in cultivating authentic relationships, and we partner with local food access organizations (Fresh Truck, Hanks, Fresh Moves Mobile Market) to make real food more accessible in underserved communities Over the years, sweetgreen has received numerous accolades from the press including The Washington Post, USA Today, Food & Wine, Forbes, Bloomberg, Washingtonian, CBS, and CNBC, among others. Our vision is to inspire healthier communities, by connecting people to real food. We’ve worked hard to build a company with passion and purpose - and we’re just getting started. (And we’re hiring!)
