SpeechDojo is a Non-Profit Organisation that promotes accessible public speaking through live instructor lead, weekly classroom programming and a free Online Learning Platform. I oversee the online division. Here are some cool things we did in the last year while growing our team to 35 high impact volunteers: • Launched a TikTok account gaining over 2 million views and 23k followers • Produced three Online Courses available on our website at speechdojo.org with 200+ sign-ups on our Beta • Partnered with 12 schools (30 classrooms!) to run our Classrooms programming (Doubling each semester) • Presented at HackTheNorth and began product development for a truly gamified learning platform

University of Alberta Summer Research Intern

Authored a paper entitled "Popularity of Nutrition Influencers and Products and Services Promoted on Their Websites" to the University of Alberta Library. I conducted my research under Dr. Melissa Fernandez and Dr. Kim Raine as part of the WISEST Summer research program in the summer of 2020. My research focused gathering data on the influence of nutrition influencers and categorizing the products and services available on their website. This research is the foundation for imperative studies that will help public policy makers determine how to regulate online nutritional content in a way that promotes public health. My research is currently being presented at various academic nutrition conferences by Dr. Melissa Fernandez.
