Atipica is a women-led and women-founded marketing and communication agency focused on helping companies develop and create a brand identity for their online business. During my time as an advisor, I worked closely with the Founder and Executive Director in the following topics: - Helping get clear on Atipica's value proposition and identity, so they could reshape their website to clearly showcase what they do and how they help customers. - Helping reshape the content and material they used to share the work they've done with other clients, focusing more on deliverables and impact created. - Guided the leadership team in the process of acquiring their main website domain, which required to negotiate with the counterpart that owned the domain at that moment. - Assisting the leadership team to implement and run 1:1 sessions with direct reports. This helped uncover "unspoken problems" within the organization as well as creating a more frequent channel of communication between leadership and the rest of the team. - Guided the leadership team in the process of making decisions that would allow the company to stay afloat during difficult times (COVID). This included a 6-month plan to evaluate sales performance against current cost structure and create a priority list of reductions-to-be-made in the event that revenue goals weren't met. Following a people-first approach, the company prioritized retaining people in the company instead of resorting to layoffs as a way to cut costs.
