By this point, I and the executive team had grown the organization—a cloud-based HR application development company—to 6,800 customers across 160 countries with $1.4B in revenue. Projected revenue of $2B is slated for 2022. Key COO priorities included charting Ultimate Software’s new financial structure and take-private deal by partnering with the CTO and other executives on the due diligence cycle for the $11B deal in 23 days.
