    In addition to conceiving and launching Stowaway Cosmetics, I ran Stowaway's multi-million dollar P&L, oversaw multiple rounds of venture and private equity funding and exited the company to a private consumer package goods conglomerate WIN Brands in August 2019. Stowaway is a line of premium cosmetics sizes women can carry and finish! Winner of ICMAD's Cosmetic Design Innovation Award and Beauty Packaging's Indie Company of the year for our innovative right-sized packaging concepts.

    2012 - 2013

    playAPI made it easy for marketers and their agencies to build branded games, contests, and interactive campaigns quickly, inexpensively, and predictably. Our tools enabled marketers, agencies and publishers to easily combine their content with proven interactions and engagement techniques to create social applications and games. Our API and developer toolkits enabled developers to easily build custom interactive campaigns using our library of game, engagement, and social mechanics. In addition we offered pre-fab ready-to-launch templates for popular gaming and engagement types including "this or that", memory, bingo, and brackets. Finally we supported easy cross platform deployment including mobile, web, Facebook, and Tumblr. Our SaaS model helps reduce time-to-launch, build cost, and ongoing development support making experimentation easier.

    2012 - 2013

    As Director of marketing I oversaw a team of strategists, project managers and marketing leads in collaboration with design and development teams to implement marketing, communication and content strategies for fashion and lifestyle brands including Nike, The Gap, Coach, Michael Kors, The Standard Hotels, Club Monaco, Aldo, Express, Sephora, Land Rover & Avon. Responsibilities included planning, purchasing & implementation of marketing, media, digital & creative strategies for clients & co-managing team of 35 marketing, social media, creative & design, and development professionals with Digital Director.

  • Director Of Digital Experience and Ecommerce

    2010 - 2011

    I was responsible for all digital brand touchpoints online for first the LOFT and then Ann Taylor brands. I collaborated with the Ann Taylor Marketing and Public Relations teams as well as the Omni-Channel, E-commerce and Direct Marketing cross functional teams to bring the brand to life online. Responsibilities included planning, purchasing & implementation of digital marketing & media for our multi-million dollar user acquisition budget as well as ultimate responsibility for the digital P&L.

    I was responsible for Equinox's interactive presence. As an innovative wellness brand Equinox leverages many digital tools including social media, blogging email marketing, SEM & SEO campaigns, online utility tools such as our proprietary MYEQ fitness tracker, a member's only mobile app (I oversaw the development and launch) and digital advertising for new member acquisition.

    As Director of Digital Strategy and Planning at Reindeer Company I handled digital strategies for consumer product accounts such as PepsiCo’s Pepsi, SoBe and Tropicana as well as oversaw the launch of Goop in collaboration with the Arnell Group and Gwyneth Paltrow

    2007 - 2008

    Responsible for development of Sugar Inc publishing affiliates; integrating Coutorture Media. Managed Sugar Inc distributed media strategy including editorial and ecommerce syndication (including Sugar Inc property Shopstyle.com) for Coutorture.com and Coutorture Network Partners. Managed partner development and retention strategy for OnSugar a publishing platform and social content destination site for social networking, social content, and community interaction for Sugar Inc.

    Coutorture is an online publication, community and advertising network comprised of over 200 editorially selected fashion, beauty, perfume, accessory, and streetwear blogs and publications. In addition to serving as a hub for the Coutorture advertising network, Coutorture Media produced cutting edge editorial content and native advertising. Acquired by Sugar Inc in 2007, Coutorture Media's community and assets have been integrated into the Sugar Inc stable of blogs and community tools while the advertising network was integrated into Shopstyle (acquired by Rakuten).
