I am a finance controller at Microsoft serving in Corporate External and Legal Affairs -- supporting the U.S. Government, E.U., and U.N. affairs teams. This work provides a deeper understanding of how private sector firms leverage emerging technology and talent to solve complex problems. I aided in maintaining a model to efficiently spend Microsoft’s internal carbon tax revenue, helped to construct Microsoft’s carbon offset portfolio, and drafted Microsoft's first Environmental Justice Plan. Also, I contributed to Microsoft’s attainment of higher revenue from investment in high growth startups through Microsoft’s venture capital arm (M12).
