- Undertook a self-initiated research project entitled “The Phylogeny and Biogeography of Placodermi” supervised by UCL’s Head of Earth Sciences, Prof. Paul Upchurch. - Utilised two coding softwares, namely R and TNT for the purpose of understanding phylogenetic relationships and tree topology, and Maximum Parsimony, respectively.

- Attached to surgical oncologist, Prof. Soo Khee Chee at Farrer Park Medical Centre. - Observed Prof. Soo during consultations, ward rounds, tumour board meetings, and in the operation theatre, gaining insight into the demands of the medical profession.
