  • Founding Partner

    2019 - 2021

We work closely with companies that inspire us to create meaningful customer and employee experiences that break through an increasingly noisy and competitive landscape. Our goal is to help worthwhile organizations shine through DEI programming, trainings, brand work, content, and communications.

  • Senior Director

    2015 - 2018

Responsible for bringing the messages of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg's bestselling books Lean In and Option B to a global audience. Frequently spoke on women's issues, marketing, and community building.

  • Director of Communications

    2012 - 2014

Led communications efforts for RelateIQ from pre-launch through the company's acquisition by Salesforce. Managed RelateIQ brand, messaging, and internal and external communications. Was promoted to Director and managed all communications efforts post-acquisition. Led the team's first-ever event presence, pulling off a highly trafficked booth and well-attended content sessions at Dreamforce 2014 in just eight weeks.

  • Marketing Communications

    2011 - 2012

Helped protect and grow a well-known brand in a constantly changing environment, balancing individual attorneys' needs against brand priorities. Internal and external communications, award submissions, social media, and public relations came with the territory.

  • Marketing Writer

    2008 - 2011

Joined as the only writer and grew with the business to provide a voice to three lifestyle brands, represent hundreds of employees, and delight a whole lot of happy customers. Favorite memories include crafting the company's style guide, developing a team of exceptional writers, and presenting a grammar lesson interesting enough to keep a dozen front-end engineers engaged.

  • Writer and Editor

    2006 - 2011

Became a quick study of complicated technologies to assist with in-house writing, editing, and PR projects, including conducting client interviews, drafting success stories, writing and editing magazines and newsletters, and maintaining blogs, among other projects.

  • Staff Writer and Copy Editor

    2006 - 2007

Researched topics of interest to the UCSB community, interviewed subjects, and wrote articles for publication in the daily newspaper. Worked the copy desk fact-checking and carefully editing the entire paper for grammar, spelling, and style. Wrote headlines to conform to the paper's standards for space, clarity, and wit. My favorite was a headline for a Levi's campaign where students could audition for modeling gigs and shop for new clothes: "Genes Sought, Jeans Sold at Levi's Expo."
