Bascom Ventures is a community of Wisconsin alums: investors, executives, entrepreneurs, and innovation enthusiasts with a connection to the University of Wisconsin. At our core, we are a UW alumni venture capital firm. We raise capital from Wisconsin alumni and then invest that capital in early, venture, and growth stage companies with a Wisconsin alumni connection. In each of our annual funds we build a diverse 15-20 company portfolio that is industry, stage, and geography agnostic. The fund co-invests alongside top-tier venture capital and private equity lead investors. We are private, for profit, and not part of (but friendly with) the University of Wisconsin.
